Jordan Kennington, MEd, LPC-A

HI, I’m Jordan Kennington

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Rock Hill, SC. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Masters of Education in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. Before that, I earned an Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Religion and Philosophy from Erskine College. I found a passion for mental health counseling during college after seeing the positive impact it made in so many people’s lives including my own.

I see my role as a counselor as a supporter and advocate. I view you the client as the expert on your life and believe you have all the tools you need to make change and accomplish your goals. However, we all find times where we feel stuck and don’t know how to find answers for ourselves. That’s where I as a mental health counselor am able to offer a non-judgmental, open-minded, safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions.

As a counselor, I have worked with clients of diverse ages, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. I work with an array of issues, specializing in:

  • anxiety and stress

  • life changes

  • grief and loss

  • identity issues

  • LGBTQ+ issues

  • relationship issues

  • Christian counseling and

  • religious and spiritual issues.

I enjoy working with diverse populations, but I am especially interested in adolescents, young adults, women, and religious professionals. If you’re interested in working with me, feel free to contact me with questions, or you can view my schedule and request an appointment today.

I am not afraid of storms for
I am learning how to sail my ship.
