Meet Jordan
Jordan Kennington, MEd, LPC, LPCS-C
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor-Candidate located in Greenville, SC. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Masters of Education in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. Before that, I earned an Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Religion and Philosophy from Erskine College. I found a passion for mental health counseling during college after seeing the positive impact it made in so many people’s lives, including my own.
As a counselor, my role is to be a supporter and advocate for my clients. You are the expert on your life and have the tools you need to make change and accomplish your goals. However, we all find times where we feel stuck and don’t know how to find answers for ourselves. That’s where counseling can help. I offer a non-judgmental, open-minded, safe space for you to process your thoughts and emotions.
I work with clients of diverse ages, religions, genders, and sexual orientations, especially young adults, women, and religious professionals. I specialize in helping my clients navigate:
Anxiety and stress
Life changes and transitions
Relationship issues
Identity issues
LGBTQ+ issues
Grief and loss
Christian counseling
Religious and spiritual issues
