Jordan Kennington, MEd, LPC, LPCS-C
Jordan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and LPC Supervisor-Candidate based in Greenville, South Carolina and the owner of Kennington Counseling. She holds a Master of Education in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University and a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Religion and Philosophy from Erskine College. Jordan’s background in both counseling and faith studies shapes her deep interest in the intersection of identity, relationships, and spirituality.
Jordan specializes in working with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, identity exploration, life transitions, and faith or spirituality concerns. She is especially passionate about supporting women and young adults who are exploring dating, marriage, boundaries, self-worth, and major life decisions, as well as clients processing church hurt, spiritual questions, or faith transitions in a thoughtful and affirming space.
In her work, Jordan takes a collaborative and relational approach to counseling. She believes clients are the experts of their own lives and already carry meaningful strengths and insight. At the same time, she recognizes that life experiences, relationships, and transitions can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Therapy offers a space to slow down, explore patterns with curiosity, and move toward greater clarity, emotional health, and self-trust.
Jordan works with clients of diverse backgrounds and identities and is committed to providing an open-minded, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. Her work is grounded in helping clients build healthier relationships—with themselves, their faith, and the people they care about most.
